How It Works

From application to your first day as a US company

5 steps. We select as applications arrive, so apply early.

  1. Day 0

    Apply

The form takes about 10 minutes. Pick the one track that fits you best, and we check your eligibility first.

  2. As they arrive

    Shortlist call

If you're shortlisted, we talk for 20 minutes about your plan.

  3. Day 30

    Applications close

Closes at midnight UTC. Later applications go to Cohort 02.

  4. 3 business days after selection

    Company formed

We form your company and get your EIN. Your 12 covered months start that day, with the full Clemta Premium plan.

  5. Within your first 90 days

    Record your founder video

A short video with us, so we can feature you and your company on our channels.

Not selected? Your application moves to the next cohort, and you can start your US company today with 10% off.

Why Clemta Impact Exists

Talented founders are everywhere. Their first wall is the cost of starting.

A 19-year-old shipping a first product. A women-led team bootstrapping. A developer whose open source project became a business. All three have customers waiting, and a payment processor that needs a US company.

The deal

What you get, and what we ask

Clemta Impact is part of how we market Clemta.

Selected founders receive

Your first 12 months, covered from the day your company is formed.

  • Company formation

LLC or C-Corp in Delaware or Wyoming, state filing fees included.

  • EIN

Your federal tax ID, obtained by us.

  • Registered agent and US address

    For 12 months.

  • Bookkeeping

    Monthly, for the first year.

  • Tax and compliance

First-year federal and state filings, including the first annual report.

  • Bank account support

Guidance and introductions to open a US business account.

  • A direct line to our team

Priority support for the whole year.

  • A spotlight

Your company featured on this page and across our channels.

State fees and the first annual report or franchise tax are covered up to a set limit per company. After 12 months, staying with Clemta is your choice.

In return, we ask for three things

That is the whole list.

  1. One video with us

A short recorded conversation about you and your company, filmed remotely within your first 90 days.

  2. Permission to share your story

We may use your name, company name, logo and story on our website, social media and in press material.

  3. Use the company as you described

If it is transferred or used for a different purpose within the first year, program support ends.

No equity. No revenue share. No fee.

Clemta Impact is a marketing program of Clemta. Selection is at Clemta's discretion. Program terms are set out in the participation agreement provided to selected founders.

Selection

How we choose

  1. You meet the track criteria

Checked first, and confirmed on the call.

  2. You need a US company now

Customers, payments, a marketplace, an investor or a partner that requires one.

  3. You have shipped something

However small. A live product beats a deck.

  4. Your story is worth telling

Because we will be telling it.
